Deputy CM Shri Arun Sao Praised the Performance and the Student Performers for their Thoughtfulness and Creativity
Raipur, September 21, 2026/ A theatrical presentation depicting Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25-year public journey and his contributions for the country was staged by students of Degree College, Raigarh, at the ‘Namo Seva: Untold Stories’ programme held at Sant Pujya Shri Priyadarshi Ram Ji Auditorium, Panjri Plant, Raigarh. This programme was organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao witnessed the entire performance and lauded the students for their thoughtful presentation, creativity and efforts. Through their enactment, the students portrayed service, dedication and social responsibility, presenting various situations and challenges, the decisions taken during different circumstances and themes related to the country’s development. The performance was appreciated by the guests and the audience.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Underway from September 17 to October 17
Shri Sao said that Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is being organised from September 17 to October 17, with various activities centred on service and public participation. The campaign includes 12 pledges and 25 service activities, aimed at ensuring reach of various welfare schemes and public services to different sections of society, while encouraging people to participate in service-oriented initiatives.
He said that participation of every citizen is important in realising Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat. Appreciating the students’ performance, Shri Sao said that the energy and creativity of youngsters can strengthen the spirit of service and social responsibility in society.
Students Present the 25-Year Journey in a Stage Performance
Shri Sao appreciated the students, saying that they have presented the 25-year public journey of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi through a stage performance, highlighting decisions related to national interest and development efforts undertaken amid various circumstances and challenges. The presentation also referred to the difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Youth have an important role to play in the journey towards the goal of Viksit Bharat and the programmes such as Seva Sankalp Abhiyan seek to connect them more closely with social responsibility, he added.
The students of Degree College centred their performance on the theme ‘Seva Hi Sankalp’, effectively portraying the spirit of service, social responsibility and the role of youth in nation-building.
On the occasion, Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Devendra Pratap Singh, Mayor Shri Jeevardhan Chauhan, Zila Panchayat President Smt. Shikha Ravindra Gabel, Chairman Shri Digree Lal Sahu, Shri Arunadhar Diwan, Shri Gurupal Bhalla, Shri Subhash Pandey, Shri Shrikant Somawar, Shri Vikas Kedia, Shri Anupam Pal, Shri Jatin Sao, Shri Arun Katore, Shri Pawan Agrawal, Collector Shri Mayank Chaturvedi, Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Shashimohan Singh, DFO Raigarh Shri Arvind PM, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Brijesh Singh Kshatriya and Zila Panchayat CEO Shri Abhijit Baban Pathare were present, along with a large number of people.
