Korba, September 18, 2026: Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Korba, under the chairmanship of Shri Kishore Chandra Patra, Executive Director, NTPC Korba, has been conferred the ‘NARAKAS Protsahan Samman’ in the ‘Appreciation’ category by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for its efforts towards promotion and progressive use of Hindi.
The award recognises the initiatives undertaken by TOLIC Korba for promoting the use of Hindi and strengthening its implementation across the offices associated with the committee. The activities have been carried out under the guidance and leadership of Shri Kishore Chandra Patra, Executive Director, NTPC Korba and Chairman, NARAKAS Korba.
The prestigious award was presented by Smt. Anshuli Arya, Secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, during the All India Official Language Conference held in Navi Mumbai on September 15, 2026.
The award was received on behalf of TOLIC Korba by Shri Vijay Kumar Garg, General Manager (Chemistry), NTPC Korba.
The recognition reflects the collective efforts and active participation of the offices associated with TOLIC Korba towards the effective implementation and progressive use of Hindi in official work. The award is expected to further encourage the participating offices to strengthen the use and promotion of Hindi in their official activities.
