Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the ‘Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang’ programme organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur on Wednesday. During the programme, the ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ show presented Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s inspiring life journey—from struggle to service and from service to nation-building.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that today marks an important milestone in the country’s public life. On October 7, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi completed 25 years in public life. His journey of nearly 13 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat and more than 12 years as Prime Minister of the country is an inspiring account of dedication to service, good governance, public welfare and nation-building.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that throughout his public life, Prime Minister Shri Modi has kept the national interest foremost and worked continuously to make India prosperous, strong and self-reliant. Considering the country’s 140 crore citizens as his family, he is taking the nation forward with the guiding principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’. Under his leadership, the poor, farmers, youth, women and deprived sections have remained at the centre of government schemes. At the same time, the benefits of development have reached the last person in society.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Modi has presented the nation with a vision to make India a developed nation by 2047. Realising this vision is not the responsibility of governments alone, but a collective responsibility of every citizen. Along with building a developed India, we must move forward with full strength and determination to build a developed Chhattisgarh.

He said that on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Modi’s birthday, the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is being organised across the state from September 17 to October 17. The month-long campaign is linked to public participation through 13 different points. Its objective is to take the spirit of service, cleanliness, social responsibility and nation-building to every citizen. The Chief Minister called upon the people of the state to participate actively in the campaign.

Prime Minister’s Life Journey an Inspiration for Youth

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that ‘Namo Seva Gatha’ provided an opportunity to learn about the different phases of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s life, his struggles, spirit of service and commitment to nation-building. His life is particularly inspiring for the younger generation.

He said that Prime Minister Shri Modi’s journey from a simple life to leading the country through hard work, discipline, strong determination, and a spirit of service sends a message to the youth that when determination is strong, and the objective is public service, even the greatest challenges can be transformed into opportunities.

New Chapter of Peace and Development in Bastar Under Prime Minister’s Leadership

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the firm resolve of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the indomitable courage of the security forces and the cooperation of local people, the campaign against Naxalism has achieved historic success.

He said that conditions are changing rapidly in Bastar, which remained affected by violence and fear for decades. Roads, education, healthcare, communication and government schemes are now reaching areas where development was once difficult to deliver. A new phase of peace, development and public trust has begun in Bastar. The Central Government highlighted the country’s achievement of becoming effectively free from Naxalism on March 31, 2026.

The Chief Minister said that the government is committed to ensuring that every citizen of Bastar joins the mainstream of development and that its youth receive better opportunities in education, skills, employment and entrepreneurship.

Prosperity of Farmers Our Priority

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, several important steps have been taken to uphold farmers’ dignity and strengthen their economic empowerment. The double-engine governments at the Centre and in the state are working with commitment for farmers’ interests. Continuous efforts are underway to increase farmers’ income, integrate modern technology in agriculture, and strengthen the rural economy.

Mahtari Vandan Strengthens Women’s Economic Self-Reliance

Chief Minister Shri Sai said Prime Minister Shri Modi has made women’s empowerment a key foundation of the nation’s progress. In the same spirit, the Chhattisgarh Government is continuously working to empower women economically and socially.

He said that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, around 68 lakh eligible women in the state are receiving financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month. The scheme has provided more than Rs. 20,000 crore so far. Besides strengthening women financially, this assistance also provides opportunities to participate in family decision-making.

Chhattisgarh’s Rail Connectivity Witnessing Unprecedented Expansion

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that infrastructure and connectivity are being rapidly strengthened in Chhattisgarh under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership. Works worth approximately Rs. 51,000 crore are underway to expand railway facilities in the state.

He said that 32 railway stations in Chhattisgarh are being redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Yojana. New railway projects and modernisation of railway stations will not only provide better facilities to passengers but also strengthen connectivity in the state’s remote areas. An improved rail network will also give fresh impetus to industry, trade, tourism and employment opportunities.

Basic Amenities Being Strengthened in Tribal Villages

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that respect for tribal communities, preservation of their culture and comprehensive development of their regions have remained among Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s priorities.

He said that under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, basic amenities such as housing, roads, education, healthcare, drinking water, electricity and livelihood are being strengthened in 6,691 tribal villages of Chhattisgarh. As development reaches remote tribal areas, families there are increasingly gaining access to government schemes and facilities.

The Chief Minister said that tribal communities are the pride of our culture and traditions. The government endeavours to ensure that tribal regions not only participate in the journey of development but also emerge as major centres of the state’s progress.

Chhattisgarh Emerging on the Global Investment Map

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh is also benefiting from the growing global confidence in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Through its new Industrial Development Policy, transparent administration, and an investment-friendly environment, the state government has taken rapid steps to establish Chhattisgarh as one of the country’s leading investment destinations.

Referring to his recent visit to Singapore, he said that discussions with the Singapore business community reflected strong investor interest in Chhattisgarh. He said that, impressed by the state’s new Industrial Development Policy and investment-friendly environment, representatives of 15 major companies expressed interest in investing in Chhattisgarh during one-to-one discussions.

The Chief Minister said that the objective of these investment proposals is not merely to establish industries, but also to create new employment opportunities for the state’s youth, strengthen the local economy and develop Chhattisgarh as a major hub for modern industry, technology and innovation.

He said that a developed Chhattisgarh will have an important role in fulfilling the vision of a developed India. The goal is to build a prosperous, self-reliant Chhattisgarh that makes a leading contribution to the country’s development journey.

MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is consistently progressing towards development, self-reliance and greater global stature. Making India a Developed Nation by 2047 is not merely a government resolve but a national goal that requires every citizen’s participation.

He said that every citizen should fulfil their responsibilities in their respective fields and contribute to the country’s economic progress and nation-building. On behalf of the people of the state, Shri Agrawal congratulated Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on completing 25 years in public life and wished him a healthy, long life.

Cabinet Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country has made rapid progress in various fields, including defence, economy, infrastructure, cleanliness, self-reliance and public welfare. Throughout his public life, the Prime Minister has placed service to the nation above all else and always prioritised the national interest.

He said that from the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to the vision of Developed India by 2047, Prime Minister Shri Modi has set goals before the nation that have inspired every section of society to participate in nation-building. His 25 years in public life represent an important milestone of service and dedication to the nation. He wished Prime Minister Shri Modi a long, healthy life.
